Flu Vaccinations 2024
Posted on:
Non-urgent advice: This year, appointments for adults (18+) will be available from October
Evidence shows that the flu vaccine can be less effective for adults the longer it has been since you had it.
The flu season normally reaches its height in December or January.
Having the vaccine in October gives you the best protection during these months.
All providers (including community pharmacies) are contractually not able to give any flu jabs to anyone aged 18+ until 3rd October 2024.
